Selection Committee
The Selection Committee is formed by the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees of the Kohli Foundation for Sociology. In addition, we invite two external scientist for each round of selections. At present these are: Prof. Delia Baldassarri (NYU) and Aeneas Zi Wang (Associate Professor at Nanjing University).
Delia Baldassarri is Julius Silver, Roslyn S. Silver, and Enid Silver Winslow Professor in the Department of Sociology at New York University. Her research interests are in the fields of Economic Sociology, Political Sociology, Social Networks, and Analytical Sociology. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor and later Associate Professor at Princeton University.
Aeneas Zi Wang holds the Jiangsu Province Distinguished Professorship and is concurrently Associate Professor of Sociology at Nanjing University. His research interests bridge international (Chinese) migration, demography, education and well-being from cross-regional perspectives. He was previously Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at the French National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilisations (INALCO) in Paris and has lectured at Sciences Po Paris.
